Axiad IDS is looking for a mid-level Channel Sales professional to join our sales team.

We are a 2 Tier Solution Provider who is heavily engaged in helping our VARs sell to their customers.  If you are an experienced channel account manager who wants to strengthen his/her profile by engaging more regularly with customers, or if you are an Inside Sales or Junior Sales rep who wants to develop a strong career in the channel, Axiad is for you.

  • You will regularly help qualify and carry opportunities to fruition with or on behalf of your VARs.
  • You will own strategic channel accounts and manage all aspects of development of growth, from training and enablement to developing campaigns, finding from our catalog the ideal solutions to sell, etc.

Job description

  • Build channel partnerships to develop pipeline and close deals
  • Develop and implement strategies as well as sales and marketing activities for owned channel accounts
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest to expand your list of prospects within your territory, including making 5-10 calls per day to build and manage a pipeline
  • Lead your own sales cycle end to end including forecasting, lead generation, qualification, quoting and closing
  • Generate a pipeline of sales opportunities through inbound website lead follow-up, outbound sales generated lead campaigns, and driving upsell business into existing customers and resellers.
  • Articulate the Company's value proposition to decision-makers across multiple industries to assess buying interest. Promote software solutions with various management levels and professionals across technical and business disciplines
  • Provide weekly activity reports to management

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a Business, Marketing, Systems Engineering or similar
  • 4 to 6 years business experience
  • Ability to understand and promote technical offerings and solution sets
  • Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening and cold-calling
  • Ability to create a good impression with IT organizations and get “a foot in the door”
  • Able to work independently in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment
  • Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce.com or Zoho.com
  • Previous experience in Cyber Security a big plus.

This is a customer facing position which requires strong presentation and communication skills, ability to work under pressure and under tight timeline, and good problem solving abilities.
